From prescription to collection
The team verifies the prescription, checks frame fit, takes the measurements required for the chosen lens and explains lens material, coatings and expected timing. Finished glasses are checked and adjusted at collection.
Express service
Some suitable prescriptions can be fitted quickly when the required lenses and a compatible frame are available. Complex, multifocal, specialised or out-of-stock lenses require standard laboratory processing.
Pricing and health funds
Price depends on frame, prescription, lens design, material and coatings. A written quote can be provided before proceeding. Eligible customers may claim optical benefits from participating health funds; benefit limits and waiting periods are set by the fund.
Own frames and limitations
Existing frames are inspected before new lenses are accepted. Brittle, damaged, rimless or unsuitable frames may be declined because fitting can cause breakage. Staff explain the risk and alternatives before work begins.
